‘Wagle Ki Duniya’s’ Prapti Shukla (Gungun) is making her Bollywood debut in ‘The Diplomat’ opposite John Abraham.

In the upcoming film ‘The Diplomat,’ alongside noted actor John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb, Prapti Shukla, well known for her role as Gungun in the TV sitcom ‘Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey,’ will make her Bollywood debut.

The young performer recently discussed it in an interview, saying, “I’m happy to see my Bollywood goals come to fulfillment. I’m excited to add to the engaging story of ‘The Diplomat,’ which looks to be an amazing cinematic experience.

Prapti plays a young Indian woman whose life takes a tragic turn when she is forced to marry a Pakistani man in the film. Her character’s development as a target of harassment in a foreign country is central to the story’s intriguing dynamics.

The film “The Diplomat,” based on a true story, is directed by Shivam Nair and written by Ritesh Shah. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, John Abraham, Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Sameer Dixit, Jatish Varma, and Rakesh Dang are only few of the distinguished names involved in the production.

Prapti talks about her time filming in Darcha, Himachal Pradesh, and how much she appreciates the show’s producers’ willingness to give her creative freedom. The trip has sentimental meaning because she is taking it with her mother, and she is grateful for her mother’s help in taking time off from work to go with her.

Prapti Shukla’s move to the big screen is a major step in her career, as she has previously performed mythical roles in TV plays like “Radha Krishn” and “Vighnaharta Ganesh.” With the release of ‘The Diplomat,’ she will enter the world of Bollywood, and her experiences there are sure to fascinate viewers and add depth to Indian cinema.
